We already covered the Les Paul, arguably the greatest guitar that ever existed, as impressive yesterday as it is relevant today. And perfection is impossible to improve, right?. Think again.

In late 1953, an even more refined version of the beast was introduced, most probably on specific request by Les Paul himself, as he wanted a more luxurious and classy looking guitar. He requested a black guitar as he wanted it to "look like a tuxedo". Nicknamed the Black Beauty, this one is probably not only the greatest guitar ever, but also the most beautiful one. We just had to honor this one in our Wireframe Collection.
