Harvey Bernard Milk (San Francisco Supervisor, 48 y.o. at the time), was shot and killed in San Francisco's City Hall together with San Francisco Mayor George Moscone by former Supervisor Dan White, who had casted shortly before the sole vote against Milk's bill banning discrimination for all in public accommodations, housing, and employment.
